Digimon Rules Empty Digimon Rules

Here we give our members two options when it comes to their digimon partners. The two options vary differently and each has its own pros and cons, like most things in life do.

The first option is where the staff randomizes a digimon for you, based off your choice of digimon family. I know that you're all groaning and already wanting to read the next choice, but just bear with me. This option allows you to have a reroll if you aren't okay with the digimon assigned to you, but you may only reroll once and you have to stick with the digimon you're given, no matter what digimon it is. the rerolled digimon will be from the same family as the one your first digimon is from.
The families offered are:

Dark Area: mostly dark and sinister digimon
Deep Savers: mostly water-based digimon
Dragon's Roar: mostly dragon and reptile digimon
Jungle Trooper: mostly insectoid and vegetation digimon
Metal Empire: mostly machine and cyborg digimon
Nature Spirits: mostly beast, dragon and dinosaur digimon
Nightmare Soldiers: mostly evil, dark, night-based digimon
Unknown: mostly digimon of unknown descent.
Virus Buster: mostly holy type digimon
Wind Guardians: mostly holy and bird digimon

You may pick only one family from these groups, and you may not specify that you do or do not want certain digimon.
The second option is the one that i know all of you are going to want to do but please, read all the information so that you are in the complete know-how. we will also allow for our members to choose their own digimon partner. yes, yes, i know that this prospect is exciting, but please continue to read. if you do decide to choose your own partner, than you will be placed 25 posts in debt and your partner will be stuck in its fresh form until you reach positive one post and then you will proceed to gather the number of posts needed to digivolve your digimon. Once you have made twenty-posts, reply to the notification thread and/or pm a staff member and we will first check and make sure before editing your profile accordingly.

YOU MAY NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, CHOOSE A DIGIMON WITH THE X ANTIBODY
VARIATION OF THE ORIGINAL UNLESS THAT DIGIMON IS A DORUMON, RYUDAMON, DRACMON, FANBEEMON. EXAMPLES INCLUDE DIGIMON LIKE AGUMON X OR PALMON X AS THEY ARE THE X ANTIBODY VARIATION OF THE ORIGINALS BEFORE
THEM.
if you are lucky, they will be assigned to you by a staff member if you go with the staff's choice option. this rule extends to purchasing a second/third partner as well.

TWIN DIGIMON
Yes, i know that some of you may be wondering about twin digimon and if they are allowed on here. short story, is that, yes, we do allow twin digimon but there are a few rules that you have to follow if you wish to go down this route. if you decide to get twin digimon from the start, you may not purchase a second digimon partner, as you already have two and that would be unfair. twin digimon can only be obtained by staff choice.

STAFF CHOICE: you are not allowed to reroll your digimon partners like you would be able to if you just went with one digimon. i know that seems kind of unfair, but the reason is that its already a pain for staff to come up with twin digimon once, let alone twice.

You will be placed 30 posts in debt and just as its stated above, they will be stuck in their fresh form until you reach the posting requirements.[/ul]

recolors are allowed, however, they must have an official DMA page.

NOTE.
if you are in debt, than right under your username, it'll say IN DEBT. this means that any posts you gain are negative and, depending on how far in debt you are, until your post count reaches the amount of debt you are in this is where you will stay for example, if you are 25 posts in debt than you stay in debt until your post count reaches 25.

Digivolution Rules

So here, the rules for digivolving your digimon might work differentlythan on other sites. it may seem unorthodox, but i think that it works much better than having to buy the normal digivolutions with your hard earned exp points that could be used to buy other things that you might desire. Digivolving your digimon is simple! All you have to do is meet the post requirement for that level and that is that. Allllso! We have an Affection system... This is simple as well, at the end of the topic you have a chance to gain an Affection point with your Digimon. Affection points are easy to get really, Just treat your Digimon well... Within your character and a point should be yours. Just call this Quality control! So you don't have to pay any exp points (unless you want to purchase the side digivolutions like armor digivolving, biomerging, etc ). though, your digimon will not be in that form permanently as you do have to purchase that perk. after you reach the desired post count you can digivolve at any time you like into that level. the counts are:

FRESH: 0 posts:0 Affection
IN-TRAINING: 1 post:0 Affection
ROOKIE: 10 posts:0 Affection
ARMOR: 30 posts: 3 Affection
CHAMPION: 40 posts:2 Affection
JOGRESS: 80 posts : 5 Affection
ULTIMATE: 100 posts:4 Affection
MEGA: 160 posts: 7 Affection
BIOMERGE: 160 posts: 10 Affection

I know that some of them seem like a lot or too much, but that's because reaching mega is very rare. all digimon assigned by a staff member will start off at the in-training level and (for this level only) they may be in-training on the first post you make instead of it being the second post. all digimon you choose will start off at the fresh level. this rule excludes twin digimon.

As for what you're allowed to digivolve your digimon to, as long as it makes sense you can do it. For example, a liollmon would be able to digivolve to a dorulumon but not say, a togemon. so have fun deciding and go nuts.

DIGIMON PARTNER LIST
this is a list of all the digimon you are allowed to choose from (or staff is to choose from) to be your digimon partner(s). please, if choosing your own partner, don't choose any that are being used by too many other people. we want to even things out, here, and no one wants to put a ban on any digimon.

BANNED DIGIMON
i normally wouldnt ban any digimon as i don't particularly believe in banning things but there are just some digimon that are much too powerful (or will be used for site event) to be allowed.

WILD DIGIMON
we don't have strict rules on wild digimon here, though the ones we do have should be followed to make your experience at run around that much nicer~
first off, members can control wild digimon, but they are not able to control them in a fight. you can mention being chased by a wild digimon, but you are not allowed to engage that digimon unless you request for a staff member to take over the control of that digimon. its a lot funner this way, even if it may seem a bit uncool.

any friendly digimon can be controlled by you without staff interfering, but the minute they turn unfriendly then a staff member must control them. there is no way around this rule. All staff will control the wild digimon during a battle.

Also, a digimon npc may be controlled by no one but the person who created them.
